The University of Delhi (DU) releases the second round of postgraduate seat allotments for the CSAS-PG 2026 admissions cycle. DU announces 2,964 fresh allocations for two-year postgraduate programmes. These round 2 allocations are made available on the postgraduate admissions portal, along with the minimum allocation scores for different programmes on DU’s website.
DU also reports figures from the first round: 11,548 seat allocations were initially offered, with 10,393 candidates accepting their allocations. By the fee payment deadline of June 19, 8,150 candidates complete the admission process by paying the prescribed fees. For the first-round applicants, DU states that 3,399 candidates opt to freeze their allotted seats, 2,448 choose the upgrade option to seek higher preferences in later rounds, and 2,303 do not exercise either option.
For candidates allotted seats in round 2, DU sets a deadline to accept the seats by June 24 and to complete fee payment by June 27. DU advises applicants to regularly check the admissions portal for updates on seat allotments, document verification, and deadline-related requirements.
