A leaked image shared on Weibo, as reported by GSMArena, suggests the X Fold6 could start at CNY 9,999 (about $1,475) for a base configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. NDTV reports a separate tip that the phone will launch at a significantly higher price than the vivo X Fold5, which debuted in China in June 2025.
NDTV also outlines expected storage and memory variants, including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The same source claims the device will include a 7,000mAh battery and run Vivo’s Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold. While these details are not confirmed by vivo in the reporting provided, the leaks collectively indicate a higher-cost positioning and an expanded set of storage options for the new foldable.
