Tecno is expanding its EllaClaw AI agent, adding capabilities that move beyond simple chatbot-style responses into actions on the phone. The agent is positioned as a cloud-based assistant that can perform system and app-related tasks while keeping user control through permission safeguards. Tecno previously introduced EllaClaw using its OpenClaw port, and the latest updates add cross-app automation and system-level device optimization.
Across the reports, EllaClaw is described as able to optimize key device areas such as mobile data use, battery life, and storage space. It can also address performance issues with functions such as “Smart CleanUp Boost,” which frees up RAM and CPU resources to reduce system lag. In addition to device maintenance, the agent can automate workflows spanning multiple apps—for example, running errands and completing tasks like hailing rides and shopping—based on user prompts.
