Police in Pune arrest a woman and her alleged lover in connection with the death of a businessman, which authorities initially described as a trekking accident. According to officials, the victim, identified as Pune businessman Ketan Agrawal, died after being pushed into a deep gorge off Lohagad Fort. Investigators say the accused—Agrawal’s fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her alleged lover, Chetan Babulal Choudhary—attempt to present the death as an accident.

Police also allege the couple carried out an earlier plan tied to an overseas trip. Reports say Goyal sabotages a planned trip to Bali and uses or relies on a stolen passport connected to the victim. Officials further state forensic evidence and related investigation steps help link the accused to the scheme, leading to their arrest.

Authorities present the case as an alleged murder plot rather than a natural accident, and they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and the claims about the cancelled travel plan.
