According to the reports, INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ekiti, Dr Bunmi Omoseyindemi, represents the INEC chairman, Prof Joseph Amupitan, during the presentation.
Another report states that the certificate is presented by Sam Olumekun, an INEC National Commissioner responsible for Oyo, Ekiti and Osun States, at the INEC state office in Ado-Ekiti. Both outlets describe the event as a formal handing-over of the electoral certificate to confirm Oyebanji’s election outcome, and they include congratulations to the governor by the INEC representatives present.
