Skoda has unveiled the Peaq, a new flagship seven-seat electric SUV aimed at premium family buyers. The model is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ electric platform and is designed to offer practical three-row space while remaining positioned as a direct alternative in size and purpose to Skoda’s Kodiaq. Autocar describes the Peaq as Skoda’s largest vehicle yet, extending to 4.9 metres in length and 1.7 metres in height.

The Peaq is presented with a feature-rich interior that includes a large 13.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with haptic feedback, a 10-inch driver instrument display, and an optional head-up display. Skoda also highlights convenience and comfort features such as reclining massage seats with footrests, a Sonos audio system, and a large panoramic roof with dimming or lighting segments.

Powertrain options at launch include two variants: a rear-motor 90 and a four-wheel-drive 90X with an additional front motor. Both are stated to deliver an official range of 390 miles (about 647 km) and use an 86 kWh (usable) battery. Fast charging is claimed up to 199 kW, enabling a 10–80% charge in 28 minutes on compatible equipment. Customer deliveries are expected to start in early next year.
