The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declares the CA Intermediate Examination results for the May 2026 session. The official statistics released with the results show that candidates who appeared for Group II record the highest pass percentage among the listed categories. Group II has a pass rate of 16.11%, based on 10,372 candidates passing out of 64,381 who appeared.
For Group I, 9,350 candidates pass out of 91,237 who appeared, resulting in a 10.25% pass percentage. For candidates who appear for both groups, 2,820 pass out of 33,304 who appeared, which translates to an 8.47% pass rate. The sources also report that pass percentages are lower in May 2026 compared with May 2025 across all categories. Group I declines from 14.67% to 10.25%, Group II falls from 21.51% to 16.11%, and the both-groups pass percentage drops from 13.22% to 8.47%.
ICAI publishes scorecards on its official result portal, where candidates can access them using their registration number and roll number.
