Jharkhand’s engineering admissions for the academic year 2026-27 are open for BTech and BE programmes, with the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) starting online registration. Candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2026 can apply through the official JCECEB portal. The registration window runs from June 24, 2026, to July 2, 2026.
To be eligible, applicants must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with at least one specified science/technical subject. The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination are 45% aggregate for General category candidates, while reserved categories require 40% aggregate (as specified by the board). The merit list is scheduled to be published on July 5, 2026, based on JEE Main scores and application details.
After registration, a correction window is listed for July 3, 2026. JCECEB will announce the counselling and seat allotment schedule separately.
