Fusion CX, a customer experience and business process solutions provider headquartered in Kolkata, plans to invest ₹100 crore over the next three years to set up an IT and IT-enabled services campus at the Bengal Silicon Valley Tech Hub in New Town near Kolkata. The company says it has acquired 1.06 acres of land in Action Area II for the project. The campus is expected to include an 11-storey facility with a built-up area of about 2 lakh square feet.
Fusion CX expects the new site to create employment for more than 9,000 people when operating at full capacity. The company describes West Bengal as a key destination for its offshore delivery operations and frames the investment as a way to expand its existing presence in the region.
The announcement is also presented as part of the company’s longer-term growth plans for its delivery cluster in West Bengal. Fusion CX’s leadership said the investment will proceed over the three-year period and that the facility has the potential to generate the stated jobs once fully established.
