Burglars break into the house of retired judge Giribala Singh in Bhopal, an accused in the ongoing case linked to the death of actress-model Twisha Sharma. According to police and reports from multiple outlets, the break-in takes place under Katara Hills police station limits during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. Singh’s family says the intruders enter through the rear side of the property while Singh’s brother is at home and initially remains unaware of the incident. The burglars are reported to ransack the residence, and investigators suspect they target gold jewellery and a file containing documents related to Singh and her son, Samarth Singh.
During routine night patrol, police vehicles approach and witnesses hear a siren. The suspects flee and leave behind some of the items. Police later review CCTV footage from the area and identify suspects based on movements captured on the cameras. Two people are detained on Sunday and are questioned by police, while officers continue examining the evidence. Singh and her son remain in judicial custody in connection with the Twisha Sharma death case, while the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continues its investigation.
