Flights between Tehran and Dubai are scheduled to restart on Monday, Iranian state media report. Officials at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport, including Ramin Kashefazar, say “necessary arrangements have been made” to reopen the Tehran–Dubai route at the airport. Tickets are reported to be available through Iranian airline Sepehran for a 10:40 am local time (0730 GMT) flight to Dubai.

The reopening comes after disruptions to air travel across the Gulf during a regional war involving Iran and US-Israeli forces. During the conflict, Dubai airport was repeatedly targeted by drones, prompting intermittent flight suspensions. Footage cited by the outlets shows at least one drone crash near the passenger concourse area. The war also coincided with a sharp decline in passenger traffic at Dubai airport, with figures described as falling 66% year-on-year.

A ceasefire has been in place since April, though exchanges of fire continue. The United States and Iran are also said to be in the middle of a 60-day negotiating period aimed at reaching a lasting peace agreement.
