Multiple outlets report that the party has disowned the online publication and warns the public not to rely on unauthorised claims. APC states that it has not released any official winners list from the primaries through social media or other unofficial channels. Instead, the party says successful candidates will be contacted through its official communications and that certificates of return will be issued after the official process.
The reports also note that the APC urged members and voters to follow the party’s established channels for accurate information. By breaking its silence on the circulating list, the party reiterates that any results or announcements not issued through its official framework should be disregarded. In doing so, APC attempts to contain misinformation about the outcomes of its internal elections until formal notifications are made to the relevant candidates.
