BTS is bringing its large-scale cultural program “The City” to London next month, coinciding with the group’s “Arirang” world tour stop at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. According to BTS’s agency, BigHit Music, the offline event in London is titled “BTS The City Arirang London” and is scheduled to run alongside the band’s concert dates on July 6 and 7 (local time). “The City” activities begin on July 6 with lighting installations, including the London Eye being illuminated in red, a key color associated with the “Arirang” tour. The program also includes a floating boat on the River Thames carrying a sculpture featuring the “Arirang” logo. From July 8 to 10, a BTS-themed media art exhibition will be held at Outernet London, a public entertainment venue, using large digital LED displays to present visuals from “Arirang” for an immersive audiovisual experience. Channel NewsAsia also reports that BTS announces multiple fan activities across London between July 4 and 10 ahead of the July 6–7 concert dates.
