The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) releases the UPTET 2026 admit card on its official website, upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates who registered for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) can download their hall tickets using their login credentials such as registration/application number and the OTP sent to their registered mobile number, depending on the listed process. After downloading, candidates are advised to verify the details printed on the admit card before the exam.
The UPTET 2026 examination takes place on July 2, July 3, and July 4, 2026, conducted in offline OMR-based format at multiple examination centres across Uttar Pradesh. The exam is held in multiple shifts each day, and candidates must check their specific reporting time and shift on the hall ticket. The test includes two papers: Paper 1 for eligibility to teach Classes 1–5 and Paper 2 for eligibility to teach Classes 6–8. Candidates aiming for both levels appear for both papers. The admit card is required to be carried to the examination centre, along with valid identity proof, and candidates are instructed to follow all exam-day guidelines. Qualifying candidates receive a teacher eligibility certificate with lifetime validity, subject to recruitment eligibility conditions.
