IIT Kanpur has released the shortlist for its Bachelor of Cybersecurity (B.Cyber) programme for 2026. The institute invites 120 candidates to appear for an admission test scheduled for July 5, 2026. After the test, selected students are scheduled to report for admissions on July 21, 2026. The admission test is described as a hackathon-style assessment that evaluates candidates across areas including cryptography and web security, alongside other components meant to measure analytical and problem-solving skills. IIT Kanpur also states that all participants must follow the exam rules strictly. The information is posted on the institute’s official website (iitk.ac.in), and the notification confirms the number of shortlisted candidates and the dates for the entrance test and subsequent reporting for admissions.
