Ubisoft has published graphics specifications for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on PS5 and PS5 Pro, outlining three selectable modes on both consoles. Across the lineup, the game targets upscaled 4K output while offering different frame-rate and ray-tracing trade-offs. On the base PS5, the Performance mode targets 60fps with standard ray tracing, while Fidelity targets 30fps and Balanced targets 40fps (with a 120Hz display requirement). The Balanced and Fidelity modes use extended ray tracing to improve lighting and reflections. GameSpot additionally reports that Performance uses standard global illumination, while Fidelity and Balanced combine extended global illumination with reflections.

On PS5 Pro, Ubisoft’s specifications call for extended ray tracing in all three modes. The upgrade also includes improved upscaling using the console’s PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR 2.0) to support sharper upscaled 4K visuals. GameSpot also highlights strand-based hair rendering for Edward in all modes on both PS5 systems. Other announced cross-platform enhancements include real-time weather simulation and a modernized water system. The game releases July 9 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
