The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) opens enrollment for its July to December 2026 schedule of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), offering 25 free, self-paced courses to the public. The courses run through UPOU’s MODeL platform and are available to anyone interested in learning from anywhere at no cost. The announcement follows a previous batch of 32 MOOCs offered during the first half of 2026.

UPOU says the new lineup includes six new or returning courses alongside offerings from earlier cycles. Among the courses mentioned by outlets are topics such as Internalizing Behaviors among Children, Practical Home Support, and introductory content in business language and accounting. Other listed subjects include Filipino academic writing and grammar skills, and research ethics fundamentals.

Sources also note that participants who meet course requirements may earn an electronic certificate, reflecting that the program supports completion for enrolled learners. Enrollment for the 25-course batch is open for the period covered by the July to December 2026 calendar.
