The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) opens enrollment for 25 Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) scheduled from July to December 2026. The courses are offered through UPOU’s MODeL platform and are free for the public to access, with participants expected to study at their own pace. UPOU describes the program as continuing its ongoing MOOC offerings, with the July–December 2026 batch following 32 MOOCs made available during the first half of 2026. The university says the new lineup includes six new or returning courses among the 25 total offerings. UPOU also notes that learners who meet the course requirements may be eligible to earn credit or certification tied to course completion, with the courses designed as self-paced online learning. The announced course titles include subjects such as internalizing behaviors among children, practical home support, and foundational business and accounting topics, as well as Filipino academic writing and grammar skills, and research ethics. Enrollment for the July–December 2026 MOOCs is now open, with all courses presented as open to learners nationwide.
