Apple updates its Apple Creator Studio creative-app subscription with new AI features spanning Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro, and Logic Pro, along with improvements in related Apple apps. In Final Cut Pro, the update adds Generate Captions, which transcribes audio and places customizable subtitles on the timeline, and Edit Detection, which analyzes rendered video and splits it back into original timeline clips. Additional Mac-focused tools include Auto Mask for isolating elements such as skin, hair, sky, and clothing without manual tracking, plus Magnetic Mask for more precise user-defined masking. The update also refines color handling through an updated Match Color and allows frame-by-frame adjustments with Advanced Trimming. Apple also links Pixelmator Pro and Final Cut Pro by letting users send a frame to Pixelmator Pro for thumbnail and social-graphics editing.
Pixelmator Pro gains AI image generation via natural language and a Content Hub for browsing curated images. Apple also adds workflow integration with iWork documents (Pages, Keynote, and Numbers) and vector shape generation. Logic Pro’s Chord ID is rebuilt for more accurate harmonic analysis, and a new granular sync mode and sound pack expand sound-design options. Apple also lists updates to Motion, Compressor, Final Cut Camera, and iWork apps included for Creator Studio users.
