American Airlines is introducing a new grab-and-go lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) as part of its Provisions by Admirals Club concept. Multiple outlets report that the space is located on the main terminal level between gates 12 and 14, where it offers a quicker “grab-and-go” option for travelers who have access consistent with regular Admirals Clubs.
The new lounge spans about 3,700 square feet and focuses on food and beverages rather than full sit-down lounge amenities. It includes hot and cold food options and barista-made coffee, with one report specifying Lavazza. The lounge also provides bottled drinks.
Reporting also indicates this is the second Provisions by Admirals Club location, following the concept’s earlier rollout in Charlotte (CLT). Together, the coverage describes the JFK opening as a way to bring an Admirals Club-style access option back to the main concourse for passengers making shorter connections.
