Inter and Italy defender Alessandro Bastoni is under investigation by Milan prosecutors over allegations of underage prostitution. Multiple outlets report that the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office is examining a wider inquiry into an alleged escort ring linked to an events company that organised “all-inclusive” nights and VIP dinners and outings in Milan.
According to prosecutors, Bastoni allegedly had sex with a 17-year-old girl who was recruited by the company handling luxury events. Investigators allege that the organisers provided private apartments for clients, where sexual services could be arranged with underage girls. Authorities also report that the company owners involved in the events operation are themselves under investigation.
Bastoni has been summoned to appear before prosecutors, with one outlet citing a scheduled appearance on Friday. His lawyer denies the allegations, including a claim that he “has never paid for sex,” and another report says the allegation that he paid for sex with a 17-year-old in June 2020 is untrue.
