The NBA Cup championship game is scheduled to move from Las Vegas to Butler University’s historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis next season. In remarks made in December, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said the league was considering relocating the final and was exploring “storied college arenas.” Multiple outlets report that the NBA has selected Hinkle Fieldhouse for the next Cup title game, highlighting it as an old and well-known college basketball venue. NBA Head of Global Events Kelly Flatow is cited describing Hinkle as a setting that captures the “excitement and drama” of the Emirates NBA Cup Championship. The game is reported to be played on Dec. 11, 2026, marking the first time the Cup final is held outside of Las Vegas. Earlier speculation from the previous season included possible relocation to other major college arenas, such as Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium, but reports indicate the NBA ultimately chose Hinkle Fieldhouse.
