Limited Run Games has announced a physical release of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2, in partnership with Crystal Dynamics. The announcement follows a digital “shadow drop” of the game on Switch 2 in November. The physical edition is described as including the game’s downloadable content, online multiplayer, and additional bonus content.
Nintendo Life reports that pre-orders open on 2 July 2026 and will be available for two versions: a standard edition and a collector’s edition. The standard edition is priced at $49.99 and includes the game and a booklet. The collector’s edition is priced at $79.99 and includes the game plus additional physical collectibles, including a soundtrack CD, a steel case, a map of Yamatai, and a pry axe keychain.
Across the coverage, the main details are that the release is physical, is targeted at the Switch 2 platform, includes all DLC and online multiplayer, and has clearly outlined pre-order timing and edition contents.
