Limited Run Games has announced a physical release of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2, partnering with Crystal Dynamics, according to reports from multiple outlets. The game previously launched digitally on Switch 2 last November, but this is positioned as a new physical offering for the console.

Nintendo Life reports that pre-orders open on 2 July 2026 for two editions: a standard edition priced at $49.99 and a collector’s edition priced at $79.99. The standard package includes a copy of the game and a booklet. The collector’s edition includes a copy of the game plus additional items including a soundtrack CD, a steel case, a map of Yamatai, and a pry axe keychain.

My Nintendo News adds that the physical release includes all downloadable content, online multiplayer, and bonus content. Eurogamer similarly frames the announcement as the arrival of a true physical release for Switch 2, noting that the Switch version of the port had earlier received mixed feedback but improved over time.
