The WTA Finals, the season-ending event for the women’s tour, is moving to Indian Wells, California, after the WTA’s hosting arrangement in Saudi Arabia ends earlier than planned. Multiple outlets report that the Saudi partnership concludes ahead of schedule, prompting the WTA to relocate the tournament to a new venue for this year’s Finals.

BBC Sport and Yahoo Sports say the WTA is ending its partnership with Saudi Arabia and that the tournament will move to Indian Wells for the upcoming staging. Yahoo quotes a WTA statement indicating that, after two editions in Riyadh, the WTA requested a move for the 2026 WTA Finals to a new host location. The report says the Saudi Tennis Federation accepted the proposal and that both organizations mutually agreed on ending the hosting arrangement.

Other coverage describes that the 2026 Finals had been slated for Riyadh, as part of three planned editions in the Saudi capital. Winnipeg Free Press and Sky Sports also confirm the relocation to Indian Wells for November following the early end of the Saudi deal, without adding new terms beyond the change in venue.
