Gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi is granted four-hour custody parole on humanitarian grounds so he can meet his wife, Anuradha Chaudhary, and their newborn twin daughters at a Gurgaon hospital, according to court and police sources cited by outlets. The parole order is issued by a Rohini court on July 1. Jathedi is escorted under tight security, with a heavily secured Delhi Police team accompanying him to and from the hospital.
Reports say the couple welcomed the twins through IVF, with the wife’s medical condition during childbirth leading doctors to perform a Caesarean section. The court reviews hospital and medical records before passing the order. To protect the family’s privacy and safety, the court directs that the hospital name and the location of the meeting not be publicly disclosed.
A video showing Jathedi being escorted out of a police van circulates on social media. Jathedi is described as facing more than 30 criminal cases across several states, including charges such as murder, extortion, and criminal intimidation.
