According to reports, the Lego minicars are part of a concept introduced previously, with outlets noting a similar approach used in Miami last year that drew attention from drivers and fans. During the parade, the vehicles are expected to produce an informal and lively atmosphere, with participants treating the laps as a playful preview rather than a competitive race. One report specifies that the go-karts are made using about 28,000 Lego bricks.
The Lego show is presented as a tie-in between Formula 1 and the Lego Group, transforming the traditional parade into a brief, drivable spectacle ahead of Sunday’s race.
