Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has accused two employees at her Nish Hair store in Bengaluru of running a months-long payment scam, alleging she was cheated of more than ₹8 lakh. In an Instagram video and accompanying notes, Gulati says the employees allegedly diverted customer payments to their personal accounts rather than depositing them with the business. She claims the store staff continued taking customers’ money while selling Nish Hair products under her business name and her packaging.
Gulati alleges the accused include a store manager and a sales executive. She says she made an unannounced visit to the outlet and later spent a day at a police station after discovering discrepancies. She also alleges the store manager confessed to beginning the alleged fraud about a month after joining the company, and that the scam may have been running for nearly six months.
Gulati warns customers who may have made payments directly to the two employees to verify transaction details and request bills. The reports describe her sharing photos of the accused and urging customers to check that payments are made through proper company channels.
