The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened applications to recruit teachers for its upcoming non-residential free JEE and NEET coaching programme in Patna. The initiative is aimed at supporting meritorious and economically disadvantaged students preparing for engineering and medical entrance examinations after Class 10. The coaching will be offered in subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Classes are planned to run at multiple schools in Patna and are scheduled after regular school hours.
Applications remain open until July 10, 2026 (5:00 PM). BSEB states that shortlisted candidates undergo document verification before moving to an assessment stage, which includes a written test or a demo class, followed by a personal interview. Interviews are scheduled for July 12, 2026 at BSEB headquarters in Patna. The posts are described as contract-based, with an initial engagement of two years that can be extended. Selected teachers are expected to receive remuneration on an hourly basis, with the salary cap mentioned as up to ₹2,000 per hour.
