Avenue Supermarts Ltd., the operator of the DMart retail chain, acquires a commercial property in Thane for about ₹99.27 crore, according to property registration documents cited by real estate data sources. The transaction, registered on June 30, covers the ground, first, second and third floors, along with an upper basement parking facility, in Building No. 6 at Kolshet, Thane. The property has a total built-up area of 6,530.86 square metres (around 70,298 sq ft). The seller is Regency Shelters LLP and the buyer is Avenue Supermarts Limited. The documents reviewed indicate stamp duty of ₹6.94 crore paid by the buyer. The deal includes parking infrastructure for 46 cars and 47 two-wheelers, pointing to a format intended to support retail operations.
The purchase is part of Avenue Supermarts’ broader expansion of its real estate portfolio in the Mumbai metropolitan region. One report also notes the company has acquired commercial assets worth more than ₹205 crore in Thane and Bengaluru over a roughly three-month period, indicating a recent series of acquisitions alongside its existing owned and leased properties.
