Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the new terminal building at Jodhpur airport and launches the Modified UDAN scheme from the city, according to multiple reports. Sources state the scheme includes an allocation of ₹28,840 crore over the next 10 years and focuses on developing around 100 aerodromes from existing unserved/underused airstrips, with support for airline operations to help increase the number of people who can fly and improve connectivity across India.
