Mumbai Metro Line 2A continues to operate after a technical snag affects a section of the route between Dahisar East and Kandarpada, according to Maha Mumbai Metro and reports from Times of India. Officials say services are not suspended across the full corridor. Instead, train movement is regulated in the affected stretch while the issue is being fixed.
On Saturday, operations are reported as normal between Andheri West and Dahanukarwadi, following the regular schedule. Between Dahanukarwadi and Dahisar East, trains run on a single track in both directions using a bi-directional operating arrangement, with metro rakes sharing one line. Passengers are advised that this temporary operational change can lead to longer waiting times.
Maha Mumbai Metro states that technical teams are deployed and are working on priority to restore full two-track service as soon as possible. The operator acknowledges inconvenience to commuters, and asks passengers to cooperate during the restoration work.
