Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) is investigating allegations of malpractices in the NEET (UG) 2026 exam after receiving intelligence that question sets circulated in advance overlapped with the actual exam paper. According to reports, the NTA (National Testing Agency) receives inputs indicating that a so-called “guess paper” contained questions that closely matched those in the NEET paper. Investigators examine the circulated set and reportedly identify more than 100 biology and chemistry questions with striking similarities to the questions from the exam.

In response to the investigation, SOG detains several suspects connected to the alleged leak. Police actions include detentions of individuals in multiple locations, with authorities citing intelligence inputs and evidence collection as the basis for questioning and custody. The NTA’s position, as reported, is that it is aware of the inputs and has responded to the concerns through the process of investigation.

The probe is ongoing, and authorities continue to verify how the “guess paper” material circulated and whether it was linked to the official question paper.
