Defence Minister Rajnath Singh says that following Operation Sindoor, trust in India-made defence platforms has been enhanced. Speaking at an event, he links the initiative to India’s response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Both outlets report Singh’s claim that several defence platforms built in India play a key role in the operation, which he presents as a factor in increasing confidence in domestically produced systems.

Singh also cites figures on India’s defence industrial growth. He states that defence production has reached over ₹1.78 lakh crore, compared with about ₹46,000 crore nearly 8–9 years ago. He adds that defence exports have reached record levels of over ₹38,000 crore, noting a sharp rise from ₹686 crore in 2013–14 and describing it as growing roughly 57 times. One outlet further estimates exports are around ₹40,000 crore, while noting he has not sought the full report.
