Ten fishermen from Chintapalli village in Pusapatirega mandal of Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh are rescued off the Odisha coast near Puri after their mechanised fishing boat develops a problem. According to reports, the fishermen leave Kakinada Harbor and go fishing in the mechanised boat, and the incident occurs about four days into the trip. Officials say an engine failure or snag prevents the boat from continuing, and the vessel drifts off the Odisha coast near Puri. The fishermen are later located and brought to safety by responders working in the coastal area. All accounts state the group consists of ten Andhra fishermen and that they are rescued safely.
