Multiple reports based on leaks and tipster claims outline Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 18 series, with particular focus on the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. NDTV says the series could launch in India in December, following China’s earlier timeline, where the Xiaomi 17 series was reportedly introduced around September 2025. Other outlets suggest the Xiaomi 18 Pro lineup could be unveiled in China as early as September.
For hardware, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is reported to use Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset, variously described as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and a “Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 series” chip that could be built on a 2nm process. Leaks also point to a compact flat display design with relatively thin bezels. In imaging, several reports claim dual 200-megapixel camera hardware, including a 200MP periscope telephoto on the Pro model.
For the Pro Max, leaks describe larger batteries, with capacities cited above 8,000mAh and in some reports around 8,500mAh, alongside 100W wired charging and wireless charging support. The same Pro Max camera rumors also describe a dual 200MP setup, alongside display and design upgrades over the predecessor.
