Huawei introduces the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max for the global market, following earlier Pura 90-series announcements in China. Multiple outlets report that the global launch event is held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with Huawei confirming July 14 for the product keynote. NDTV and GSMArena describe the phones as closely related, with the “s” models positioned as the international variants of the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max.
The devices run on Huawei’s Kirin 9030S chipset and use LTPO OLED displays. Both include EMUI 16 and a 6,000mAh battery, along with AI features branded “Celia AI.” Charging differs by model: the Pura 90s Pro supports 66W wired charging, while the Pura 90s Pro Max supports 100W wired charging. Camera highlights include a 200-megapixel telephoto option on the Pro Max. The phones also carry IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. Availability is reported as beginning with pre-orders in Malaysia ahead of a broader rollout.
