Huawei just announced its new Pura 90s phones - the Pura 90s Pro and the Pura 90s Pro Max. Two very similar phones but for slightly different crowds. Huawei has introduced the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max globally at an event in Malaysia. Both smartphones feature the Kirin 9030S chipset, LTPO OLED displays, EMUI 16 and 6,000mAh batteries. The Pro model supports 66W wired charging, while the Pro Max offers 100W wired charging and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. The smartphones also include Celia AI features, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and are currently available for pre-order in Malaysia ahead of a wider global rollout.

Huawei is bringing the Pura 90 series to the global market next week and we got a few new details thanks to a pair of teasers posted on Huawei’s X account. It turns out the devices will be called Pura 90s internationally instead of Pura 90 as they are known in China. Huawei has not detailed what the “S” means, but we can expect to see some spec changes. Huawei, through X, announced that it will host a product launch event on July 14 to launch the Pura 90 series globally. The launch event, named NowIsYourMoment, will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Huawei launched the Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro, and Pura 90 Pro Max smartphones in the Chinese market in April. They run on the company's in-house Kirin 9000 series chipsets and carry a 6,000mAh battery unit.
