Shares of Ola Electric Mobility Ltd fall for multiple sessions as reports say two suppliers have approached India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) seeking insolvency action over unpaid dues. Multiple reports cited filings by Ola Electric Technologies (the operating arm that contributes nearly all of Ola Electric Mobility’s revenue) to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The suppliers—Sterling E-Mobility Solutions and Anevolve Mando eMobility—allege unpaid payments exceeding ₹40 crore in total. Reported amounts include ₹29.8 crore owed to Sterling and ₹10.8 crore owed to Anevolve, with delays of more than 45 days. The reports say Sterling’s petition is scheduled to be heard by the NCLT Bengaluru bench on July 6, after the tribunal heard Anevolve’s plea about a month earlier.
While the suppliers seek insolvency proceedings, sources cited in one report describe the dispute as commercial, with both sides raising related claims. Ola Electric is reported to have flagged issues with component quality, while suppliers continue to press for settlement of pending payments. The share moves come amid broader market volatility and ongoing company-specific concerns.
