JSW Energy shares decline on Tuesday following the release of its Q4FY26 results. The Economic Times reports the stock falls as much as 8% to a day’s low of ₹512 on the BSE. The company posts a consolidated net profit of ₹574 crore for the March quarter, up 38% from ₹414 crore in the same period a year ago. Revenue from operations rises 41% year-on-year to ₹4,499 crore, while Business Standard also reports profit growth of over 38% and states total revenue increases to ₹4,851 crore from ₹3,497 crore in the previous year.

The Economic Times adds that profit after tax increases 8% quarter-on-quarter from ₹529 crore in Q3FY26, and revenue is up 10% sequentially from ₹4,082 crore. Total expenses for the quarter are ₹4,666 crore, reflecting higher fuel, employee, and finance costs. Power sales volume grows 48% year-on-year, renewable generation rises 68%, and generation under long-term and short-term PPAs increases.

The company’s board recommends a dividend of ₹2 per equity share and sets June 5 as the record date.
