Orbital Studios, a virtual production company founded in 2020, is moving to Television City in Los Angeles. Multiple outlets report that the company relocates its LED walls and headquarters from the L.A. Arts District to Television City’s Fairfax Avenue lot, described as a former CBS studio that has also hosted productions including “The Carol Burnett Show” and “The Price Is Right.”

A partnership between Television City and Orbital Studios is also described as establishing a new virtual production studio in the Fairfax District. The LED volume is planned for a site at 7800 Beverly Boulevard within Television City. Orbital Studios’ offerings include art teams and virtual production tools, software, and pipelines intended to support faster and more efficient production using LED volume technology.

The move expands Orbital Studios’ physical footprint and ties its virtual production capabilities to Television City’s existing production infrastructure. Orbital Studios’ reported credits include Netflix’s “Nemesis” and an upcoming FX project, “The Drop: A Snowfall Saga.”
