Basti, July 10: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while targeting the Samajwadi Party, said that religious faith is now being respected in Uttar Pradesh. He noted, “Kanwar pilgrims carrying the waters of the Saryu from Ayodhya to Bhadeshwarnath Dham are showered with flower petals from helicopters, whereas earlier the Kanwar Yatra and other religious events were stopped. He also distributed certificates/sanction letters and assistance materials to beneficiaries of various government schemes.Yogi attacks previous governmentsThe Chief Minister stated, “Before 2017, government funds were spent on constructing boundary walls for graveyards and facilitating illegal encroachments, whereas today the same funds are being utilised for the restoration and development of religious sites. At that time, in the name of the Waqf Board, the lands of the poor, Dalits, and the deprived were encroached upon, and this had become common during the rule of the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Congress.”Recalling an old incident, he said, "When I was the Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur, a district president of the Samajwadi Party himself came to me with a complaint that land near his house was being forcibly encroached upon in the name of a graveyard. I sent my workers, got the encroachment removed, and saved his land. At that time, the SP government could only see graveyards, not the common people."The Chief Minister highlighted, “Earlier development schemes remained confined to paper, whereas today projects whose foundation stones are laid and inaugurated are visible on the ground.”Education and infrastructure pushReferring to the Chief Minister Composite School being built in Harraiya, he said, "Modern education from pre-primary to Class 12 would be available on a single campus. An expenditure of ₹27 crore to ₹30 crore is being incurred on each school, where smart classrooms, modern buildings, furniture, and all necessary facilities will be provided.”He added, "The education system under the Samajwadi Party government had fallen victim to a culture of cheating, and the future of the youth had become bleak. Farmers did not receive facilities, the poor were deprived of the benefits of government schemes, and the power supply system was so poor that people in Basti used to dry clothes on electricity wires."Taking a dig, he further said, "While the public was struggling with a power crisis, film stars' programmes were being organised in Saifai."Ram Temple and religious issuesThe Chief Minister pointed out, "It was these very people who got namaz offered on the sacred steps of Hanumangarhi." He alleged that they had tried to make every major religious place controversial and had continuously pursued politics of creating disputes in Ayodhya as well.CM Yogi said, "There was a time when anyone who raised the slogan of 'Jai Shri Ram' in Ayodhya faced lathi charges and bullets."He added, “Those opposing the construction of the Ram Temple had claimed that if the temple was built, rivers of blood would flow. But we had said that not even a mosquito would die, and today the entire country has seen that the grand Ram Temple has been built, the Pran Pratishtha has been completed, and there has been no unrest anywhere. Ayodhya, July 10: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched an attack in Ram Nagari on parties that, according to him, pretend to have faith. There was no connectivity, irrigation, drinking water, security, or employment. Even FIRs were not registered at police stations. He added, "A total of 64 thousand acres of land were freed from mafias directly or indirectly linked to the SP. Investments are now taking place on that land, creating employment opportunities for youth. Young people in Bundelkhand are now getting work close to home." Sultanpur, July 7: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a strong rebuttal to the opposition's campaign regarding Ayodhya Dham and the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. He stated, "The grand temple of Lord Shri Ram, built with the support of Ram devotees, is not being tolerated by the Samajwadi Party and the Congress. Those who fired bullets at Ram devotees and shed crocodile tears over the Babri structure are now preaching about faith. Despite strict action against the guilty based on the SIT report, Ayodhya is being deliberately targeted. These people want the loot in the name of Waqf to continue and want to keep defaming temples. Along with this, an Industrial Cluster is also being developed on the Purvanchal Expressway, which will provide ample employment and job opportunities to local youth within their home district."He shared the state's achievements in the field of sports and informed, Uttar Pradesh athletes Lalit Upadhyay and Rajkumar Pal, who won medals at the Olympics, have been directly appointed as Deputy Superintendents of Police. Pratapgarh, July 7: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sharply criticised the leaders of the Samajwadi Party and Congress, holding up a mirror to them on the issues of the Ram Mandir and Waqf. He stated unequivocally, "Why do those who attack Hindu faith have their mouths sealed with Fevicol in the name of Waqf? The real pain of the SP and Congress is that where they wanted to see the symbol of slavery, the Babri structure, a temple of Lord Ram has been built instead. Even a chameleon would be ashamed on seeing SP leaders and Congress leaders, because this species changes colours even faster than us."On Tuesday, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 111 development projects worth over Rs 384 crore for the Pratapgarh and Vishwanath Ganj Assembly constituencies at the Government Inter College. The CM paid tribute to Pratapgarh's rich heritage by recalling its deities, saints, litterateurs, freedom fighters, and political leaders. He remarked, Pratapgarh, spreading the medicinal sweetness of amla, is an example of self-reliance. But it is the farmers, orchard growers, and their forefathers of Pratapgarh who have given us the nectar fruit by producing amla.Addressing the gathering, the CM said, "You have seen the quagmire of the SP, Congress, and other parties. Those who had created an identity crisis for the youth and citizens are once again conspiring as elections approach. They are playing with Hindu faith over the alleged theft in Ayodhya, but in the name of Waqf, thousands of hectares of land belonging to the poor and weaker sections have been sold across the country and the state. These lands could have been allotted to the poor. Convention centres, shops, and commercial establishments could have been built on them. Some selected people committed irregularities by facilitating encroachments in the name of Waqf and selling those lands, but the Congress and SP did not utter a single word on this."He stated, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had requested the state government to constitute an SIT. I had said that the SIT would certainly separate truth from falsehood. Acting on its preliminary report, the Trust lodged an FIR. Action was also taken against those against whom evidence existed. But why are the mouths of the Congress and SP sealed with Fevicol in the name of Waqf? When these people facilitated cow smuggling, got cows slaughtered in illegal slaughterhouses, ordered lathi charges and firing in Ayodhya, called Lord Ram and Lord Krishna imaginary, stopped Kanwar Yatra and Durga Puja pandals, and instigated riots before festivals, was Hindu faith not hurt then? Hundreds of youth from here have been recruited in the 60,244 police recruitment drive. Earlier, the Saifai family used to loot jobs meant for the youth and auction them off, depriving meritorious candidates of employment. Describing progress as the foundation of prosperity, the CM said that better opportunities had been provided to Pratapgarh through the beautification of Maa Belha Devi and Chandrika Devi temples, works related to Karpatri Ji Maharaj, and improved connectivity. Through the Ganga Expressway, the distance between Pratapgarh and Prayagraj as well as western Uttar Pradesh has been reduced.The CM said, "Nine to ten years ago, Pratapgarh was counted among the backward districts. There was a lack of connectivity, roads, and basic facilities. Everyone was discouraged, but now everyone is enthusiastic because of the government's encouragement. Before 2014 in the country and before 2017 in the state, there was a lack of encouragement, due to which the poor were frustrated and disheartened. The youth were compelled to migrate, and farmers were driven to suicide."He further informed, daughters and sisters were unsafe, artisans were unemployed, and there was no ray of hope. Previous governments gave one mafia to every district; we gave one medical college to every district. Children who have no guardians are being provided Rs 4,000 every month through the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana. Pratapgarh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday accused the Samajwadi Party and the Congress of trying to exploit the recent controversy surrounding Ayodhya for political gains, saying their "real pain" was that a grand Ram temple had replaced the Babri structure.Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for 111 development projects worth more than Rs 384 crore in Pratapgarh and Vishwanath Ganj assembly constituencies, Adityanath said the opposition had no moral right to speak on Ayodhya."The place where they wanted to see the symbol of slavery now has a temple of Lord Ram. That is what pains the Samajwadi Party and the Congress," the chief minister said. He accused the two parties of frequently changing their stand on Ayodhya and alleged that they were trying to hurt Hindu sentiments by politicising an isolated incident.Referring to the alleged theft case linked to Ayodhya, Adityanath said the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had itself sought a Special Investigation Team probe and that action had already been initiated on the basis of the SIT's preliminary findings.Ram Temple Trust Row Deepens Over Acceptance Of Champat Rai's Resignation "The SIT will separate truth from falsehood. He said hundreds of youths from Pratapgarh had secured jobs in the recent police recruitment drive and many others were succeeding in various state recruitment examinations.The chief minister also highlighted his government's welfare and development initiatives, saying Pratapgarh had undergone a major transformation in infrastructure, healthcare and connectivity over the past few years.Several ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior BJP leaders attended the programme.
