The Judiciary of Jamaica is holding Kingston and St Andrew Traffic Ticket Public Days at the National Arena in Kingston over two days, Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9, 2026. The judiciary is urging all registered motorists to attend their scheduled appointments, arrive at least 30 minutes early for security screening and registration, and use only information shared through official judiciary communication channels. Entry is through Gate E4, with paid parking available. Participants are directed to an information desk where staff verify registration and guide them to the appropriate courtroom. Court proceedings begin at 9:00 a.m. on both days.
Organizers say more than 43,000 outstanding traffic tickets are expected to be dealt with during the initiative. The event is conducted in partnership with the Jamaica Constabulary Force, the Island Traffic Authority and the Ministry of National Security’s Ticket Management System (TiMS). Officials expect close to 6,000 motorists to attend across the two days. Police report the first day operations are proceeding smoothly.
Motors are reminded that firearms and other prohibited items are not allowed inside the venue, and firearms will not be accepted for safekeeping. Payments can be made by cash or debit/credit card, and the final amount ordered by the court may differ from the ticket amount. Walk-ins are not accommodated; unregistered individuals are advised to visit the Traffic Court starting next week for guidance.
