Winwin, a member of NCT, is leaving SM Entertainment and will end all activities with the group, according to both SM Entertainment and Winwin’s own statements. The agency says it has “mutually agreed” to terminate Winwin’s exclusive contract, effective Thursday, after discussions with the artist. In a message shared via social media and released through Weverse, Winwin reflects on his decade-long time with the company. He says the years passed quickly, expresses gratitude to SM Entertainment, and credits both difficult periods and positive memories from his trainee days through his work with NCT. Winwin describes his time as his most precious memory and thanks the people he met over the course of his career.

Winwin joined SM as a trainee and later debuted as a member of NCT 127 in 2016. He subsequently became part of WayV, NCT’s China-focused unit. The reports note that this is the latest in a series of member departures from NCT during 2026, with SM stating it will support Winwin as he begins a new chapter.
