Dangote Petroleum Refinery has started free delivery of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to Abuja and five additional states, announced in a notice shared on its official X handle on Wednesday. The initiative covers Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, Delta, and the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja). Sources report the refinery maintains its ex-depot price of ₦1,075 per litre while offering delivery to qualified buyers.

Multiple outlets say the free-delivery offer is tied to purchase volumes and eligibility conditions. Nigerian Eye reports that customers must buy a minimum of 250,000 litres. Legit.ng and Daily Post also describe availability of the delivery in selected states and reference an accompanying credit facility. One outlet notes a 10-day credit facility for qualified bulk buyers nationwide.

The reports link the move to discussions with downstream petroleum stakeholders and recent efforts to reduce costs and improve availability. Nigerian Eye adds that retail pump prices have fallen over the past three weeks, and that industry observers expect the free-delivery logistics to help marketers and may support further price reductions.
