Indian Railways officials describe it as an unauthorized use and a serious breach of protocol, with concerns raised about whether permission was obtained before entering and decorating the coach.
According to reports, the incident occurred on July 6 and came to light after the video circulated online. Railway authorities have ordered an inquiry and have suspended the Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) involved in duty at Jalna station, as identified by the outlets. At least one account says the event styling service claimed it was unaware that official permission was required.
The railways’ response focuses on rule violations related to access and permissions for altering coach interiors, and it proceeds through internal investigation and action against the staff member and the parties connected to the arrangement.
