The National Testing Agency (NTA) is issuing key documents for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Computer-Based Test (CBT). NTA first releases an Advance Examination City Intimation Slip, which lets registered candidates check the examination city assigned to them ahead of the test. The city slip is accessed on the official CSIR UGC NET portal using an application number and password and is intended only for planning; it is not an admit card and does not grant permission to sit for the exam. NTA also confirms a subject-wise CBT schedule for the two-day exam on July 17 and July 18, 2026.

Subsequently, NTA releases the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 admit card/hall ticket on the same official website (csirnet.nta.nic.in). Candidates can download the admit card using their login credentials and are expected to verify details such as name, roll number, exam date/shift, and exam centre. Reports note that candidates should carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. The exam determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor/lectureship, and related PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.
