HBO completes the cast for “The White Lotus” Season 4 with three new recurring roles as production continues in France. Multiple outlets report that Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella, and Pekka Strang are joining the series in what HBO describes as the final casting announcements for the season. Kingsley, an Oscar winner, and Minghella, an Emmy nominee, are both added alongside Strang, a Finnish actor.

The new season is set in the south of France and focuses on themes of fame and celebrity, with much of the story taking place around the Cannes Film Festival, according to coverage of the season’s direction. HBO already had a large cast lined up, including Steve Coogan, Kumail Nanjiani, Max Greenfield, Chris Messina, Sandra Bernhard, Rosie Perez, and Heather Graham, and it also confirmed Vincent Cassel will portray a new hotel manager character.

Deadline and other outlets say specific details about the newcomers’ characters remain undisclosed, though all three are expected to appear in recurring parts. Filming is underway, and the series is expected to return sometime in 2027.
