Premier Energies Ltd inaugurates a new 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Seetharampur, Rangareddy district, Telangana. The plant is opened by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and expands the company’s total solar module manufacturing capacity to 11.1 GW, aimed at supplying both domestic and international markets. The Seetharampur campus spans 75 acres and includes G12R TOPCon module manufacturing lines. The company also cites features such as India’s first Zero Bus Bar manufacturing unit, AGV-enabled material movement, and AI-based quality inspection systems. In parallel, Premier Energies breaks ground for additional clean-energy manufacturing projects. These include a 6 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility and an aluminium frames plant with an annual capacity of 18,000 metric tonnes. According to the company, when fully operational the facility is expected to create over 3,000 jobs. Overall, the company positions the expansion as part of a broader integrated manufacturing platform for solar and related technologies.
