The World Padel League (WPL) is set to return to Mumbai for what organizers describe as its biggest season yet, with matches scheduled for August 12–16, 2026, at the Dome, SVP Stadium. The league is licensed and managed by Iconik Sports and Events Ltd., and Season 4 expands the event to a larger venue and six franchise teams. The competition will feature 36 international padel players from five countries, with players representing teams including Vedanta Leopards, Khan Tigers, Panorama Panthers, Aussie Mavericks Jaguars, Game Changers Lions and VB Realty Cheetahs. The teams are owned by corporate and entertainment groups including Vedanta Group, Sohail Khan Entertainment, Panorama Studios, and other franchise owners named by WPL. Organizers say the league builds on prior editions and continues to use a franchise-based format to bring top-level padel to Indian audiences. NDTV and Free Press Journal both report the same core details on timing, location, number of players and franchise structure. WPL says it will announce the complete player roster, fixtures and tournament schedule in the coming weeks, and tickets are available through BookMyShow.
