Ogun State Police say they have neutralised two suspects linked to the kidnapping of Prince Idris Adesulu, also known as Osho, of Okun Owa. Police say the prince was abducted from his residence on Ogbe Road in Odogbolu Local Government Area around 7:30 pm on June 30. Following the abduction, anti-kidnapping unit operatives carry out an operation in which they kill two kidnappers connected to the case. The police statement also says officers recover an AK-47 rifle and other items from the suspects, including phones. One suspect is reported to have escaped during the operation, and police say efforts are ongoing to apprehend him. The reports describe the incident as part of police efforts to tackle kidnapping in Ogun State and indicate that the prince is rescued as the operation unfolds. Police continue investigations into the circumstances of the abduction and the suspects’ wider network.
