Aastha Spintex Ltd announces it is acquiring Falcon Yarns Pvt Ltd, a deal expected to more than double its spinning capacity and expand its installed spindle base. The company says its annual spinning capacity increases from 7,700 metric tonnes (MT) to 17,457 MT following completion of the acquisition. Spindle capacity is projected to rise from 25,920 to 61,824. Falcon Yarns operates a spinning facility in Gujarat with 35,904 installed spindles and an annual production capacity of 9,757 MT, which Aastha says will strengthen its manufacturing scale and efficiency.

The acquisition is presented as part of Aastha Spintex’s long-term growth plan to meet rising demand from customers in India and overseas. The company also notes that Falcon Yarns’ modern facility complements its existing operations.

Aastha Spintex recently raised ₹170 crore through an initial public offering and was listed on the NSE and BSE on July 6, 2026. It states that part of the IPO proceeds will be used to fund the Falcon Yarns acquisition, along with working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.
