Multiple outlets report that Air India is fourth globally for on-time arrivals, with the airline achieving an 86.85% on-time arrival rate across 15,135 flights during the month. The reports attribute the improvement to operational changes that focus on resilience, network planning, and execution. According to the Economic Times, Air India trails Saudi Arabia, Korean Air, and Aeromexico, while Singapore Airlines is listed fifth. Times of India adds that Air India’s ongoing transformation efforts, along with investments aimed at improving reliability, are contributing to the higher punctuality. It also notes fleet and cabin enhancements, including new aircraft and cabin upgrades, as part of the broader effort to strengthen capabilities. NDTV similarly states that Air India is the only Indian airline to enter the top five worldwide for June on-time flights, reflecting gains in schedule reliability compared with prior performance.
